Episode 4, Paul Taylor "Your difference is your superpower"

Today’s guest is the brilliant, hilarious, and delightfully bilingual Paul Taylor. You probably know him from his stand-up shows, his viral videos, or simply as that guy who says out loud what most of us just think — in both English and French.

In this episode, Paul shares his journey of growing up between cultures, from his early years in Switzerland and France to his return to the UK, and how these experiences shaped his unique comedic voice.

After Sebastian Marx and Holly Hudson, I’m delighted to welcome today’s guest, Sarah Donnelly, who arrived in France from Washington about ten years ago and has just officially become a French citizen.

In this first episode, we welcome my long-time friend Sébastien Marx. He’s a New Yorker with Argentine roots, and he’s going to tell us how he lived his French dream without speaking a single word of French at the beginning. It’s the story of a conquest, with all the courage and patience it requires. Many times, Sébastien could have given up, but he chose to stay, and today, he’s sometimes more French than I am… It’s inspiring, energizing, and reassuring.
